ABOUT LUNA
Tough, compliant GWP female with tight search work that delivered sharp bird deliveries from her first real hunting season. Drives deer with desirable bark and a faithful retriever both on land and in water. Luna is a textbook example of an excellent hunting dog, at the same time as she is a calm and peaceful family dog who likes closeness. Luna is an experienced search dog for deer and is not afraid to catch up and seize injured deer.
Luna holds no championship due to a beauty flaw that makes her unqualified to participate in shows, namely her charming overbite. Without overbite, Luna would certainly have been a litter mother already as she possesses sought-after hunting qualities and a wonderful temperament. When it is not hunting season, Luna entertains her nose by competing in Nosework class two, where she shows as fantastic search work as in the forest.

Luna was born in May 2018 in South of Sweden and moved home to Luleå in July 2018. In the autumn of 2018, she joined as an aspirant in the forest and took part in moose hunting, bird hunting and tracking of shot deer. We trained forestry, retrieval and search in the forest. Loyal and quiet hunting companion while hunting moose, deer and beaver.
On September 22, 2019, the first grouse for 1.5-year-old Luna is shot. She conducts 5 sharp searches of deer, of which a bone-shot buck that she had to pull down herself in the brook. In addition, she investigated a 24-hour-old trail of shot deer with successful results. Loyal companion on and next to the scooter when trapping. Searches and retrieves birds for top bird hunting, perch hunting and pigeon hunting. Starts competing in Nosework as an off-hunting-season activity.
The first full-fledged hunting season with many capercaillies, blackcock and grouse on the rise. Sneakhunt on foxes and deer which resulted in several killed games. Continued focus on search and retrieval in forest and water. Also advances to Class 2 in Nosework at off-hunting season.
The hunting train carries on and Luna continues to drive deer with barking. Forest birds are hunted according to the school book and result in a successful hunting season 2021. Takes the place as the family's hunting queen and takes over after retired 12-year-old Achilles. Luna continues to deliver many felled grouse, capercaillies and blackcocks and is very odor-proof.
Luna fortsätter med en stabil och lyckad jaktsäsong under 2022. Likt tidigare år söker, finner och står för många fällda ripor, tjädrar och orrar. Luna är i mycket god fysik under säsongen och försäsongsträningen har gett avkastning.
