PRACTICAL COURSE
EVENING COURSE EVERYDAY

In this practical evening course for the hunter degree, we focus on the student learning to master the different parts of the shooter. We go through safe weapon handling, weapon adaptation, shotgun and shotgun shooting. The course is practical, but theoretical elements of, for example, ammunition, weapons ethics, ballistics and optics occur. The practical test consists of a shotgun test with 4 sub-torques, as well as a basic test for shotgun with 3 sub-torques and a high game test for shotgun with 2 sub-torques.

THE HAGLE TEST

The first subtest is the hail test. It is divided into four sub-steps, all of which must be completed with approved results.

  1. Safe shotgun handling (weapon handling when hiking with "obstacles" with test guides)

  2. Distance assessment (hiking with fictitious mammals to be assessed if they are within hail distance)

  3. Clay pigeon shooting (4 of 6 must be hit - 2 shots per pigeon are allowed)

  4. Shooting at ground target ("hare" at 20 meters from left and right, 2 shots per "hare")

BULLET RIFLE TEST

The last two sub-tests to take a complete hunting exam show how well you handle a shotgun and are divided into a practical basic test and a practical high game test.

 PRAKETIC BASIC TEST BULLET RIFLE

Pra

To pass the practical basic test for shotguns, you need to pass three sub-parts:

  1. Special shotgun handling (handling of shotgun weapons in an acceptable manner)

  2. General shotgun handling (weapon handling in connection with your launch)

  3. Precision shooting (two precision shots where you have to show  well-cohesive hit images, once from a shooting chair and once through hunter-gatherer support._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf8

PRACTICAL HIGH WILDLIFE TEST BULLET RIFLE

  1.   Shooting at a stationary moose figure (80 meters)

  2.   Shooting at a running moose figure (80 meters)

THE SUSPENSION

The test consists of nine 4-shot series. A series consists of two shots at a stationary moose figure and two at a running one. You will first have to shoot twice at a stationary figure which after a few seconds starts and runs. Then you have to shoot twice more. To be approved, all four shots must have hit within the moose's hit area, ie close enough to the heart and lung area to have been fatal. To pass the practical high game test, three of the nine series must be approved.

The test tracks provide weapons to those who are there to make their launches. In that case, the weapon owner must also be present. Each county has its own test tracks where the launches take place . The practical partial tests cost between SEK 200-400 / each, and registration and fee are paid on site.

Inquiries and more information will be sent out a few weeks before the start of the course.
