DAY HUNT

Regardless of whether you are a novice or a seasoned hunter, a guided hunting day is an experience out of the ordinary. Our day hunts with a hunting guide and experienced bird dogs are excellent for those who want to hunt in the Norrland wilderness for a full day. Our ambition with the day hunts is to offer and preserve hunting skills passed down through generations with a focus on simple, peaceful and exciting hunting experiences - disconnected from the stress and worries of everyday life. The day trips are preferably done with the sights set on birds, but other game species that can be hunted are of course also available. The pace is adjusted according to the hunter's ability, but be prepared for hilly terrain or deep snow to take a toll. As there is no overnight stay on our day trips, we start the day before sunrise and end the day after sunset. Times vary depending on the season. Recommended number of participants for the trip is 1-3, in order to have good conditions for a successful hunting experience.

In our guided hunting experiences, we hunt on our beautiful, northern lands with experienced hunting dogs. If you as a hunter are a beginner with perhaps your first hunting dog, or want to practice the interaction between you and your dog, it is of course fine to bring your own dog. However, we mainly hunt with our own hunting dogs that are familiar with the terrain. Since the availability of game can vary depending on the area and season, we reserve the right to guide on the lands we deem most suitable to get an optimal hunting experience and with respect for our game tribes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

WHERE ARE YOU PICKING US UP?

We pick up our one-day guests all over Luleå. If you have accommodation outside Luleå, but "on the road" to the hunting area, we will also pick you up there. If your accomondation is outside Luleå, and not on the way to the hunting area, we can arrange pick-up for an additional fee.

WHICH TYPE OF GAME IS HUNTED ON DAY HUNTS?

Currently, we only hunt small game on our multi-day hunts (capercallie, black grouse, ptarmigan, hare etc).

WHAT KIND OF LUNCH DO WE EAT ON DAY HUNTS?

On day hunts, we cook a simple lunch outdoors, so as not to "waste" too much time from the day's hunt. Often it's something cooked over an open fire, or in extremely cold weather - something pre-made that is served warm.

WHICH HUNTING AREAS DO YOU USE ON DAY HUNTS?

For the one-day hunts, we use hunting areas in Norrbotten - everything from Luleå to Jokkmokk, but we also hunt in areas in the southernmost parts of Gällivare municipality (Lapland). The hunting area is affected by the hunting season, weather and your requests.
